When I first received this and tried it out I was not sure. I regretted not buying the Kindle one at great expense, as I thought the hinge from the top would be better…like a reporter’s notebook. However, as one reviewer pointed out, as it is like a dust jacket you can hold it like a book with a finger in between the back and the front cover and it feels comfortable, more like a book. I have had it for a few months now and love it. I don’t generally use it standing on its own with the cover folded back but I have tested it and it does seem to do this perfectly well but also from looking at the photos of the Kindle cover, this one I think is not quite so upright and therefore has a more natural reading position. I chose the red cover which is a corally red, eye caching but not bright and I can easily spot it in my handbag.

This is a great little case, which fits the kindle voyage like a glove and hardly adds any weight whatsoever. The magnetic system works well, and it automatically tuns on the kindle when I open it. I cannot imagine any reason to pay four times as much for the official amazon one!
